Air fryer chicken wings are super easy and quick.
Cooking them in the air fryer is faster than the oven and they come out crisper.
I use this double basket Air Fryer
These are pretty mild. There are other variations at the bottom of the page.
This is for approximately 2 pounds of chicken.
The chicken has to be defrosted and cut apart.
Pat each one to dry it off completely. This helps get them crispy. I use a cookie sheet with paper towels. I use a baking pan to set them in, add the seasonings, and toss them .
Over the chicken, sprinkle:
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon avocado oil
Toss to coat all the pieces with the seasonings.
Preheat the air fryer for about 3 minutes at 400 degrees.
Add the chicken, not touching, in a single layer in each basket. I can put 8 pieces in each basket.
Cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Flip each piece of chicken.
Cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Remove and repeat until all the pieces are cooked.
